What the heck is this?


I am not real familiar with this type of activity. I noticed these chemtrails and the plane on Wed. (8-20-08) at 5:30 pm. It was in the most NW part of Las Vegas between Mt. Charleston and the most southern end of the Nellis Range. The plane was too high to identify. Any thoughts? I am guessing that it is refueling chemtrails related to the jets at the Nellis Range.

    i saw the same thing over western vegas, i also took pictures, people need to know, this is not right, this is poison in our air

    They are contrails ( short for condensation trails) because they are mostly water vapor not chemicals or polution. The formation is caused by an aircraft in a rounded rectangular holding pattern while in a cross wind. Each orbit in the pattern is blown progrssively further down wind because it happened further in the past.
